HandPicked Nation Dollar Day – HandPicked Nation will be in the market to promote awareness of the Farmer's Market shopping experience for kids age 6-14. Kids sign up to receive HandPicked Nation Dollars redeemable at each of the participating farmer's booths. They'll document what the kids buy through video, stills and interviews and post it on HandPicked Nation.

Jam Making Demonstration and Tasting with Jammer Julia Sforza of Half-Pint Preserves.
Julia will go over the basics of canning berry jams from berry prep to ladling hot jam in jars and then processing in a boiling water bath to make them last until the cold winter. There is nothing like opening a jar of jewel-toned local berry jam in the dead of February. Make sure you capture the local season this summer!

Lara strums the guitar while Matt slaps the Upright Bass or picks the 5 String Banjo. They share percussion duties with their fast feet and live by the motto "If you can't do it, kazoo it!" Gravikord Duo - Bob Grawi and Pip Klein present an instrumental musical performance that is a celebration of our culture in melodies and polyrhythms. Grawi plays his invention, the Gravikord, a 24-string electric double harp inspired by the African kora with Pip Klein on flute and percussion. Their music is a new-folk-chamber-jazz style that is upbeat and joyful and refuses to be pinned down in any way. The couple has performed at dozens of public and private venues around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Venice Italy Carnevale. www.gravikord.com
